The Industrial Robotics Lab Zürich (IRZ) is a research group within the Advanced Manufacturing Lab (am|z) at ETH Zurich, led by Prof. Markus Bambach. Ivo Aschwanden, a senior scientist, is the group leader in charge of IRZ.
With broad expertise in both, computer science as well as mechanical and process engineering, we are in a unique position to tackle fundamental problems within robot based manufacturing with multidisciplinary and data-driven approaches. Our well equipped lab enables us to quickly bring our ideas to the test.
Embedded in the scholarly environment of ETH Zurich and backed by Inspire's resources, network and industrial expertise, we regard it as our mission to bridge the gap between academia and the production line.
